During the Monday July 22, 2024 Flag Ceremony this morning at the New Ormoc City Hall, a turnover ceremony was held and witnessed by the city officials and government employees to officially hand over a new Toyota HiAce 2.8L Commuter Deluxe DSL M/T to the City College of Ormoc led by Ms. Maricel R. Ngo, the Assistant College Administrator for Administration, Finance, and Student Services.
After the official turnover rite, Rev. Maynard Flores, MAT, assigned Deacon from Sts. Peter and Paul Parish, Ormoc City, led the blessing of the vehicle as a form of gratitude for this blessing and the academic community’s petition for long-term protection and guidance.
This fresh acquisition, with the strong support of the local government, will significantly help in the operations of the institution, particularly, in transporting various CCO personnel during their official travels, benchmarking activities, and other affairs in the region.
Also present were Ms. Victoria Lyra P. Dela Cerna, CCO OIC President/College Administrator, Mr. Vincent Emnas, City Administrator, and the rest of the CCO Team.
