Bachelor of Arts in Communication
The Bachelor of Arts in Communication is one of the new programs offered by the City College of Ormoc beginning Academic Year 2026–2027. This four-year degree program is designed to develop critical, ethical, and creative communicators who can effectively navigate the evolving media and communication landscape.
The establishment of the program is supported by the findings of the feasibility study, which identified a growing demand for communication professionals as Ormoc City continues to emerge as a tourism destination and a hub for Meetings, Incentives, Conferences, and Exhibitions (MICE). The expanding needs of local government agencies, media organizations, private enterprises, and civil society groups further underscore the importance of producing graduates equipped with strong communication, media, and information management skills.
