The CCO Management Committee (MANCOM) convened on June 16, 2026, at the Ormoc City Public Library, New Room 3 for its quarterly meeting, aimed to strengthen institutional coordination and address concerns raised by the College’s various offices. The meeting was presided over by OIC-President/College Administrator, Atty. Nolito M. Quilang.
As part of the agenda, participants delivered re-echo presentations on recently attended conferences, seminars, workshops, and benchmarking activities. These presentations served as a platform for sharing valuable insights gained from these engagements, contributing to the College’s continuing pursuit of quality education.
Among the presenters were Ms. Michelle Polido, Student Discipline Coordinator, who shared key learnings and insights gained from the 30th PAPSAS National Conference and Training Workshop. Ms. Francia Marie D. Jose, Research Coordinator, presented the highlights of the Student Research Conference. She also introduced the proposed logo for the Research and Extension Office. In addition, Ms. Angelica Nicole Castro, Admission and College Orientation Program Coordinator, provided updates on the admission for Academic Year 2026–2027.
Ms. Monica Faith Cabiling, Executive Assistant of the Office of the President, representing Atty. Jima Zandra Jimenea-Vergara, CCO Legal Counsel, reported on the virtual benchmarking activity conducted with the Northern Bukidnon State College Board Secretary.
The meeting also provided an opportunity for the different clusters to present updates, discuss concerns, and put forward recommendations. Matters from their respective areas were shared by Dr. Sandra Lynn Baybay, Vice President for Academic Affairs; Ms. Jenny Marx M. Apit, Vice President for Student Affairs and Services; and Mr. Aga C. Galabo, Vice President for Administrative and Financial Services. Representatives from the faculty and student clusters also presented the key concerns and recommendations, with Faculty Association President Mr. Ethelbert Deguit presenting matters on behalf of the faculty, and SSG President Kenneth Toñada conveying matters on behalf of the student body.
The MANCOM Meeting continues to highlight the college’s commitment to cultivating a culture of collaboration and providing opportunities for dialogue and knowledge sharing. These efforts play a vital role in ensuring that institutional initiatives remain responsive and aligned with the needs of the CCO community.
