
The opening ceremony gathered students, faculty, staff, and school officials to introduce the day‘s activities and cultivate a welcoming and inclusive environment as the new academic year officially began. After the preliminaries, SSG President Mr. Kenneth V. Toñada delivered the welcome remarks, followed by a keynote address from OIC President and College Administrator Atty. Nolito M. Quilang, DPA, CESE.
The program continued with facility tours and student organization exploration, giving students the opportunity to visit key areas of the campus and explore organizations aligned with their interests.
The afternoon concluded with an awarding ceremony, during which student organizations received certificates and prizes for their participation, while students and faculty members won raffle prizes. Vice President for Student Affairs and Services Ms. Jenny Marx M. Apit, RSW, MTSW, delivered the closing remarks, encouraging students as they embarked on their college journey: “As you begin your journey at CCO, I hope you carry these three wishes with you: stay curious, show up when opportunities come, and always remember that your education is not only about what you can achieve for yourself but also about what you can contribute to others.”
The event concluded with a unity dance led by the Culture and the Arts Organization and ASPIRE Volunteers.
